Neighborhood Services - Code Compliance Division

WELCOME TO FOUNTAIN NEIGHBORHOOD SERVICES

The mission of Neighborhood Services Code Compliance Division is to provide fair and comprehensive enforcement of City Codes, which includes the regulation of junk, debris, trash, nuisance, weeds, zoning, and rental/leased property maintenance.

Violation Free Property
Code Compliance plays an important role
in preserving the attractive appearance of neighborhoods in the City of
Fountain. Fountain's Code Compliance Officers work closely within the community to protect public health, safety, and welfare through the comprehensive and equitable enforcement of City Ordinances, also  known as City Codes, related to nuisance and land use violations. Officers enhance and safeguard the quality of life in our community through education, guidance, and special projects.

Violation Free PropertyThe goal of Code Compliance Officers is first to achieve voluntary compliance with  our City Codes by the property owner, and  secondarily through code enforcement  procedures by utilizing Notices of Violation,  Municipal Court, and the Abatement  Process.

NEWS & EVENTS

usagain bin
We are now accepting clothes, shoes and household textiles regardless of condition at the Fountain Recycling Center. Household textiles include tablecloths, towels, bedding, blankets, bedspreads, etc.

USAgain has provided a bin for collection and tell us that for every bin we fill-up they will plant 1 tree. This is a win for us, a win for USAgain, and a win for the environment which equals a big win for everyone!

Clothes, shoes and textiles must be clean and dry and dropped off in tied plastic bags into the green and white USAgain bin.  A sturdy plastic bag protects the clothes from dirt and simplifies handling. For more information on the clothing and shoes recycling program, visit www.usagain.com.

The Recycling Center is located at 301 E Iowa Avenue, Fountain, CO 80817 and is open:  Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and the first Saturday of the month from 9:00 am to noon.  We are closed holidays.

Call us at (719) 322-2032 for more Recycling Center information.
