The Records Section receives and maintains all records produced by the Police Department. This includes incident reports, accidents reports, arrest reports and traffic summonses, etc.

To obtain a copy of a Police Report, please fill out the “Request for Records” form. You can email form to, fax it (719) 382-7790
or drop it off at the Police Station.  Police station is located at 222 N Santa Fe Avenue.

Records will be released within 3 business days once the report has been completed.
(If report is able to be released)

To obtain body worn camera, please fill out a request form and either email it to, drop it off at the Police Station located at 222 N Santa Fe Ave, or fax it to 719-382-8500.

9 AM to 1 PM.

Professional Standards Department


The mission of the Professional Standards Department is to facilitate prompt and effective communication between department members, as well as with members of the community and our regional partners. It is to provide a smooth flow of information between all stakeholders to assist in reaching departmental goals and objectives and to maintain transparency in the department.

The Professional Standards Sergeant is responsible for reviewing any complaints that are referred from the Patrol Division or directly from the citizens and is responsible for conducting internal affairs investigations as required.
